How to Care For Our Fabrics.

All our natural Fabrics are printed with Reactive inks.

Washing your fabrics before use is always advised.

Use phosphate washing soap.

 

Machine wash separately in cold water for the first couple of washes. Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar and a teaspoon of salt per meter of fabric. Use the maximum water level to dilute excess ink. Transfer immediately to a dryer, do not leave wet in the machine or some of the ink make transfer to other areas. Machine-dry cottons on the medium to high heat. Machine dry Silk on low heat or hang to dry.

A mild fabric softener can be added to the wash cycle to soften fabric and restore to suppleness to silk. Prints can be ironed and dry-cleaned.  Use a soft white cotton cloth overtop of your fabric  when ironing. Do not beach.

Expect some shrinking.
